Among us are those called to evangelize, teach and preach and
others to lead organizations. Some are chosen to make wise
investment that they can give to God’s work around the world.
Some have been called to be an example of Godliness in their
homes, church and community. Whatever your calling; remember to
give your all no matter what it is.
Look at the book
of Nehemiah. Nehemiah was called by God to rebuild the walls of
Jerusalem. They lay in ruin crumbled! The walls cried out as
though to Nehemiah, to be brought back to their former glory. He
planned well, he delegated well, and he worked hard, and in 52
days the wall was rebuilt. Notice the response of those around
them; they lost their self-confidence, realizing that it was God
who had helped make it happen.
So the wall was completed on the twenty-fifth of Elul, in
fifty-two days. When all our
enemies heard about this, all the surrounding nations were
afraid and lost their self confidence, because they realized
that this work had been done with the help of our God. Nehemiah
6:15-16
Can it be seen that God is working in the area of your
giftedness? When being attacked, do those attacking lose
confidence because they see the hand of God in your work?
We can all agree these are days when we need to reflect God’s
active presence in our
lives for those around us. Confidence breeds confidence! Be a
leader like Nehemiah; plan well, delegate to others and work
hard, then give God the credit.

A NOTE FROM AVERY!
(FBC Minister of Music)
It seems that there are stories of F.R.O.G.’s all over the place
at Fellowship. Everywhere I turn, someone is telling me of how
they gave a F.R.O.G. away to someone else, and what an impact it
would have on that person. It is amazing how a little plastic
animal can make such a huge impact. We even have people calling
the office that are on the receiving end of the F.R.O.G. telling
their stories of the impact it has had on them. If you run out
of this little wonderful witness tool, there are stations set up
around the church that have F.R.O.G.’s available to you. Take as
many as you need but be sure to give what you take away
to someone who may not know how to “Fully Rely On God”. Just for
your information, you can also visit the F.R.O.G. website:

F.R.O.G. is an acronym for

"Have I not
commanded you? Be strong and courageous.
Do not be terrified;
do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you
wherever you go." Joshua 1:9

We can "Fully Rely On God" to keep His
promises.
In Joshua 23:14 we read,
"You know with all your heart and soul that
not one of all the good
promises
the Lord your God gave you has failed.
Every promise has been fulfilled;
not one has failed."

Scripture assures us He will
never leave us or forsake us. He is our refuge and strength.
Before we call He will answer, and we will soar on wings like eagles.
In Jeremiah 29:11 God says, “For I know
the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord,
“plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a
future.”

Each day we can Fully
Rely On God’s reconciliation through Jesus Christ;
I do not have to — nor can I — earn or merit my salvation.
As far as salvation goes I would add another G to FROG —

Going all the way
everyday!
Salvation through Jesus Christ is just the beginning. One man
said,
"The only thing about being a Christian is that it is so DAILY."
The Christian life calls us to
daily obedience and this
can be summed up in the acronym

A
Faithful FROG
A Christian
leader once wrote: "Faith means trusting in God
against impossible odds in every circumstance."
Hebrews states it this way, "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for
and certain of what we cannot see. (Hebrews 11:1).
Coming to faith, remaining in faith, and living that
faith are all gifts from God through the Holy Spirit.
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess,
for He who promised is faithful (Hebrews 10:23).
There
is an acronym for F-A-I-T-H...Forsaking All I Trust Him!

Thank you, Lord, for giving me the faith
to Fully Rely On You every day!
